We introduce Bronze Mesh PTFE bearings in today’s <All about SGO Bearings> series.
Bronze Mesh PTFE bearings are made by sintering PTFE and wear-resistant materials based on copper or stainless-steel mesh and are also called FR bearings, PTFE soft strip bearings, and MP bearings.
Structure
Characteristics
The working conditions and features of Bronze Mesh PTFE bearings are as follows.
<Working Conditions>
<Features>
PTFE bearing layer allows for use without lubrication, has a low coefficient of friction, and excellent wear resistance.
The Bearing is thin and light, making it easy to install and suitable for low-load and low-speed use.
It acts as a separator between the two materials to eliminate the gap and can be used without noise or pollution.
The material has excellent flexibility, which allows it to be designed and molded to suit the intended use.
Products come in the shape of straight, flange bushings, plates, and washers. The standard thickness is 0.48 (+/-0.02) mm, but it can also be manufactured in 0.78mm or 0.98mm.
Used in car door hinges (doors, hoods, trunks), power seats, wipers, and textile machinery.
Bronze Mesh PTFE bearings are made to order, so please don't hesitate to contact us for the unit price and delivery date. The <All About SGO's Bearings> series will continue.
