As Chinese copper smelters have recently reduced their production, leading to a rise in global copper prices, there is a growing need for new solutions to replace traditional brass oilless bearings.
In today's newsletter, we introduce SGO's proprietary brand, THEDVELON, a distributed oilless bearing that has gained attention as a viable alternative to brass bearings, particularly in medium to high-load conditions due to its exceptional wear resistance.
THEDVELON is a bi-layer metal bearing, with an outer steel layer and an inner sintered metal layer that is evenly dispersed with special solid lubricants. The unique production method is patented in Germany and Italy, and the material has been recognized for its quality, with THEDVELON guide bushings and wear plates being listed as a new material option for press molds by a renowned German automotive manufacturer.

SGO participated in the 6th Construction & Survey Productivity Improvement EXPO 2024, held in Japan from May 22 to May 24, 2024.
CSPI-EXPO is the largest construction and survey productivity improvement exhibition in Japan, reportedly attracting 44,678 visitors and 402 exhibitors in 2023.
At this exhibition, SGO showcased a variety of bearings, including oil-free bearings with solid lubricant plugs, fully sintered bushings, and SGO's own brand THEDVELON plates.
Through this exhibition, SGO was able to communicate with many customers and understand the industry trends and customer needs in the construction machinery market.
